josé started to get some skin cancers on the tips of his ears, so he had to have his ears removed completely to stop him getting any more cancers.
white cats are prone to cancers on their ears & nose because they have no pigment in their skin, so he also had his nose tattooed.
he’s healing well, and getting back to himself, but he’ll never be able to wear glasses. maybe just a monocle instead.
